So we decided to make the creamy dreamy coconut ice-cream ( recipe can be obtained from minimalist baker). After added the sugar, ( i followed the recipe) , we tasted and it was too sweet. Hence, we decided to change and make kuih talam instead. All i did was adding flour. ( if i'm not mistaken). Then, kukus for about 20 minutes kot. End up, the kuih talam tasted so good !
Came up with the name of the dessert, told mama about it, and she laughed out loud.
LOL.
p/s : i wonder if anyone would lol like mama did.

Best eaten hot
Yesterday when I told mama about my intention to eat McD's apple pie, she said "no need eat lah.too sweet". I asked Faris to buy anyway hehe.
This morning I had the apple pie for sahur. Tasted delicious though it's better to eat while hot - and it's not too sweet like mama said.
So when to eat banana pie ?

Roti canaiai
Hi. It's been a long time since I last posted. From the last post, I should've start writing here more often. I mean, I'm 23, jobless, and my final paper is tomorrow guys! Please pray for me.
Anyway, just a short update. Today I eat roti canai for breakfast. This legendary roti canai is called Roti Canai Pak Cik Aziz. I love to eat it with the sambal. No need the kuah dhal. Just roti canai and sambal. #blissed
Today, I weigh 78kg. #sosad #shouldhaveeatonlyonepieceofroticanai #insteadofthree #andahalf

of food writing
"it’s nearly impossible to make a living as a food writer, and I think it’s only going to get worse"
"today, these jobs barely exist"
I have never heard of anyone dreaming of becoming of a food writer. In fact, no one has ever suggestes us to become a food writer. This, is going to change. I am going to be a successful food writer, be it in writing food reviews, recipes, food stories, just about any food writing related. People definitely will have doubts in me. I mean, a writer for a living-in Malaysia ? It's already hard enough to make Malaysians read, what more to make them to be interested in my piece of writing. Oh that. I need to figure that out.
I won't stop writing about food, because I believe I have passion for food. I grow up with food memories. Being in a food lover family, we can talk about food like everyday without getting bored. I can't let this go to waste. I have to do something. It may take me 5 years, 10 years or even when I'm 80 years old, but food, is always going to be one of the main topics of the day. I mean, "what's for breakfast? , what's for lunch ?, what's for dinner ?, what's for dessert ? what's for snacks?" Food is everyday. And mealtime is happy times. I want to be a part of it. If I can't do it for a living, I will live for it. Keep telling people to enjoy food, appreciate food, eat healthy, and so much more. I don't know where I want to be or what I want to be in the future honestly, but hey, writing food is a pretty nice start isn't it ?

That vanilla sauce
1. One of my unlisted (due to unnecessariness) January resolutions is to pause my usual weighing sessions for one month.
2. It has been a week since new year and I have been eating like a pregnant woman.
3. As a dessert lover, I have gave in to many dessert temptations.
4. Just in a few days, I have indulged in cakes, butters, cookies, biscuits, puddings, and chocolates.
5. The highlight of them all is Little White Cafe's bread butter pudding with THE vanilla sauce.
6. I am gradually embracing the taste of less sweetness for a while now...
7. and this bread pudding with the vanilla sauce mix together very well.
8. Let's just say, they're perfect for each other.
9. For RM5.50, you can get yourself a slice of it, only in Bangi.
p/s : Eat slowly, and be happy :)
